William Shepard Oliver Jr.

Bill was born December 3, 1947, in Little Rock, Ark., to William "Bill" Oliver Sr. and Beatrice Oliver. Bill was a tennis director at Southern Trace Country Club in Shreveport, La., where he had a great passion for coaching and teaching children the game of tennis. He truly loved and treasured his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his two grandsons, Kyle and Connor.
He was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Oliver Sr.; and grandfather, Rocco DeSalvo. 
Bill is survived by his mother, Beatrice Oliver of Waskom, Texas; wife, Debi Oliver of Henderson, Texas; son, Trey Oliver of Shreveport, La.; daughter, Courtney Kirby of Dallas, Texas; and grandsons, Kyle and Connor Kirby of Dallas, Texas.
The family would like to give special thanks to Southern Trace Country Club and the tennis community of Shreveport/Bossier City.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Northwest Louisiana Community Tennis Association, 5726 Marina Bay Dr., Shreveport, LA 71119. All donations made will go towards the 10 and under Quick Start tennis program.
